RJM Announces Executive Appointment: President

Dallas Texas — Randall James Monroe, Inc., a Dallas based global executive search consultancy announces the successful completion of the following executive search assignment for:

President - Meteorcomm LLC

Rakesh Malhotra will join the company as President and work closely with the senior leadership team and Management Committee to meet the federal mandate for implementation of Positive Train Control (PTC) technology by December 31, 2018. Previously, Malhotra was Assistant Vice President for Xorail, an engineering services provider and subsidiary of Wabtec, a $3B rail manufacturing company. In this role he provided leadership and guidance in the delivery of engineering services for PTC, Systems Integration, Communications, Signaling and Crossings to the railroad industry.

PTC is an automatic train control system that prevents train collisions and over speed accidents, meeting the criteria of the 2008 Railroad Safety Improvement Act (RSIA) mandating the implementation of PTC on certain railroad mainlines.
