RJM Announces Executive Appointment: Corporate Vice President Purchasing

Dallas Texas -- Randall James Monroe, Inc., a Dallas based global executive search consultancy announces the successful completion of the following executive search assignment for:

Texas Industries, Inc. (TXI) - Corporate Vice President Purchasing

This engagement resulted in the appointment of Lyndon Zielke as Corporate Vice President of Purchasing. Prior to joining Texas Industries Zielke was formerly Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at Holcim for the United States & Canada.

Zielke's charter will be to assist the Company's CEO and Board of Directors to implement a more centralized purchasing system and process so as to ensure that TXI optimizes all major purchasing strategies, systems, processes, contracts and relationships.

Texas Industries Inc. (TXI) is public company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company produces cement, aggregates, and consumer products, including ready-mix concrete and other specialty aggregate products, through its CAC business.
