James Monroe, Inc., a Dallas based global
executive search consultancy announces the successful
completion of the following executive search
assignment for:
Director Telecommunications Field Services
— BNSF
Railway Company
Victor Wallace has been appointed
Director of Telecommunications Field Services
for the BNSF Railway Company. Previously, Wallace
was with Swedish wireless networks giant Ericsson,
where he served as Director of National Platforms
with responsibilities for service delivery and
assurance for multiple customer networks and
direct accountability for Tier I and Tier II
technical support functions.
As a Director for BNSF, Wallace will oversee
and lead the Telecommunications Field Services
organization to support wide area network engineering
and installation, Microwave wireless broadband
transmission, SONET fiber optic engineering
and transmission and Distributed Antenna Systems
(DACS) equipment. This includes provisioning
and maintenance of 2.4 unlicensed, 4, 6, 10.5,
11, and 18 GHz Licensed Analog, Digital and
SONET radio networks for BNSF. In addition,
Wallace will work closely with key members of
the executive leadership team to provide leadership
and guidance on telecommunications and technology
related initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity
and profitability.
