RJM Announces Corporate Appointment: General Director - Environmental

Dallas, TX -- Randall James Monroe, Inc., a Dallas based global executive search consultancy announces the successful completion of the following executive search assignment for:

General Director Environmental - BNSF Railway

Allen Stegman has been appointed general director, environmental. Previously, Stegman was Director of Safety and Environmental Affairs at The Valspar Corporation, a $3.2B company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota that makes a variety of coatings and paints for manufacturing, automotive, and food-packaging companies, as well as consumers. Stegman’s charter will include providing leadership and guidance for the BNSF organization in the key areas of:

- Delivering environmental service and support to operations in the field
- Overseeing the company’s long term remediation liabilities
- Implementing environmental related metrics and systems of measurements
- Addressing air quality impacts to the environment

BNSF Railway is a subsidiary of Fort Worth-based Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (NYSE:BNI), BNSF Railway operates one of the largest railroad networks in North America, with about 32,000 route miles covering 28 states and two Canadian provinces.
