Dallas Texas -- Randall
James Monroe, Inc., a Dallas based global
executive search consultancy announces the successful
completion of the following executive search
assignment for:
AVP, Applications Development —
BNSF Railway Company
Muru Murugappan has
been appointed head of Applications Development
for the BNSF Railway Company. Previously, Murugappan
was with Sony Electronics, where he served as
the top IT executive for U.S. operations and
had significant responsibilities for leading
the U.S. aspects of a Global SAP consolidation
project that spanned Europe and North America.
As Assistant Vice President
for Applications Development, Murugappan will
oversee and lead the development organization
on installing SAP modules to support HR, Finance,
Payroll, Asset Management, and Revenue Management
for BNSF. This includes working closely with
the CIO and the executive leadership team to
deliver meaningful leadership on all technology
related initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity
and profitability.
