Austin Commercial, L.P. — Project Director - Aviation

Kent DeRusha has joined Austin Commercial as Project Director — Aviation. Prior to joining Austin Commercial, Kent served as Project Director for Walbridge, one of America's largest privately owned construction companies with headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.

Kent has more than 31 years of experience managing federal and private sector construction projects. Most recently, Kent has successfully served as Sr. Project Manager for NAVFAC NEXCOM facility located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington D.C. earning the team an Outstanding Rating from NAVFAC. Kent also brings the experience he gained serving as the Project Manager for the new 860,000 square foot Detroit Metro Airport North Terminal Replacement Facility.

As Project Director, Kent's responsibilities encompass the overall performance of a project which include, but are not limited to: establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards; development, site safety monitoring and controlling quality, costs, value engineering timing and leading the project team in a daily basis in the field.
