DALLAS, Texas -- The Broadmoor Group, a Dallas based global executive search consultancy sponsors first "Information Technology Executive Breakfast (ITEB) Series" in conjunction with the Metroplex Technology Business Council. The program was presented as an open forum for IT security related professionals to discuss the topic of "IT Security following 9-11" with industry thought leaders from corporate America.

Program Panelists included John South, Head of IT Security, Alcatel USA, Ralph Poore, Chief Security Information Officer, Advance PCS and Mignona Cote, Senior Manager of Security Vulnerability, Nortel Networks.

Keynote speaker was Sandra England, Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Research for Network Associates (NAI), a publicly traded security software company that provides antivirus, network management, and help desk software.

England’s reputation as a security expert, coupled with her management expertise, earned her distinction as one of Network World’s 50 most powerful executives in networking in 2001. Her opinions on security matters are highly sought after by government and private industry leaders. This includes being called to testify before the Subcommittee on Technology with the House Science Committee on how government and private industry can better prepare for virus attacks. Before assuming her current position, she served as president of Network Associate’s Security business unit.

Randall Neal, a senior partner and Managing Director of The Broadmoor Group noted, "the event was very well attended by business leaders from many sectors of industry. The attendees were provided with an in-depth look at some meaningful and practical solutions to real security issues that they, as Information Security Officers and business leaders, face on a daily basis."

Neal went on to say "Managing security in 2003-2004 will certainly be challenging on many fronts -- this assembly provided some helpful insight and global perspective on how to address the rapidly changing complexities of IT security in both the current and near term business environment as companies look to protect themselves from future attacks."

"We are most appreciative of the opportunity to work closely with the Metroplex Technology Business Council and want to applaud them for their efforts in coordinating this event, as well as their help in bringing this important issue the visibility and focus it deserves," said Randy Neal.
